N1 Golf

has anyone had the joys of using any of the N1 golf ranges?

I tried the one near the 02 on Sunday evening and while the views from the upper tier were pretty cool its certainly not the place to go for some quiet time to work on your game!

I would imagine that somewhere in the region of 70% of those there were just there prior to going to the o2 as they had no idea about anything golf related and the noise was unbearable, to the point where you could hardly hear the planes from City airport as they flew over.

there is no doubt that they have invested a shed load of money into the place but I am note sure if I will go back as no matter how great the views the noise and constant worry about your clubs going walkabout was just too much.

Not been there but use to visit their facility at Maidenhead for lessons a few years back. Decent range that because it was tucked away off the beaten track, use to get golfers wanting to work on their game rather than idiots making noise and being a general nuisance

I think this would be the perfect way to practice blocking out any distractions in your game!!!

I know a guy who starts shouting at the sheep if they so much as rustle the grass next to the course

I got a deal where I "only" paid £10 but given its location its got a captive audience as there aren't many other driving ranges within about 30 mins.
