Wow! that's a blast from the past!
There was a bit of buzz about it a long time ago - when I was working in Edinburgh - but have heard little since, and have forgotten most of what it was all about. Pretty local to East of Scotland at the time and doesn't seem to have expanded much since.

Bizarrely, I appear on their rankings but I had never heard of it. I happened to see my name on a different website that published their "leaderboard".
Don't recall any mention of it at the club so all a bit strange.

I only asked because I just noticed when uploading to CDH/Masterscoreboard that there was also an option to upload to MyGolfRanking. Till then, I had never heard of it.

We use it, quite a few clubs in Fife seem to use it. I quite like it but that's helped by the fact I finished top in my club. 
It did give me a bit more motivation towards the close of the season to play competitively as it was running closed amongst the top 3. The rankings are posted on the club noticeboards too and it adds a little more competition to things.
