I've used mirrors to help my swing before usually with a pro in a lesson. The only downside I've found is that if you look at the mirror as you make a practice swing because your head is facing back/down etc then it can put the rest out of alignment. If it works then fine - enjoy it

Be careful because drives viewed in a mirror may appear longer than they really are.
