my new golf monthy here! woohoo! lol

Got mine this morning and had a quick flick through. It's jam packed full of reviews, features, instructions, everything a golfer could want to read.

Just one slight criticsm, there's not much on the Forum page

Golfmmad.

After a quick flick through it's pretty clear there's a good month's reading in there! Wow. Seems a lot more than before. Will settle down to it properly tonight.

Really liking the new format (clear and easy to read) and I have to say it's great to see the GM team have very clearly taken on board what we want in a mag from the reader's survey last year. I wanted more about the personalities of the game, stories from and about the old pros and legends of the game.. and lo and behold, there they are. "Windows 7 was my idea" kind of thing. Good going, the lads at GM Towers

Nice to see Wayne Riley in there too now, and although he picked the most obvious topic for discussion at the moment, I'm sure he'll be a forthright and entertaining contributor. He and David Feherty are 2 of my favourites for that kind of thing.

And the Forum pages were good in spite of the lack of golf happening at the moment. Gave a good idea of what's being discussed on here.

10 out of 10 so far.

I've already given it a flick through and plenty to get into. The new set up is great, the CD an unexpected bonus and the features look great (agree about the Madeira timing though). The GM pages do look a little thin and hope they'll be more about what's actually discussed next month as well as the opportunity to get some reports on meets once this miserable weather clears.

All those Tiger bashers on here who label the greatman as boring and as much fun as toothache should take a wee read of Radar Riley piece....

Good 1st piece from him and as always he aint scared to tell it how it is and that is one of the reasons I think he will be a great asset to GM....in life many people don't like folk with opinions and are not scared to voice them, so don't curb his speech GM just let him fire away and I am sure he will make great reading.

Got mine yesterday. Disappointed with the new Drivers page. The whole paragraph on the new Cobra S2 was just a compress of the two page advert earlier in the mag, didn't tell me anything about the club, how it fared in test etc. Would have liked to know more about it from an individual perspective, being a Cobra player and potential buyer myself (if new need a reader to test Mike!).

Enjoyed the DVD last night, although, I did switch off John Jacobs, he lost me on the second section, couldn't keep my attention.

plenty more to choose from though, looking forward to reading the article on Chris Wood.
