A quick update on this, as I have used it this weekend. It is a 24° Mizuno FliHi, with a dsg S300 shaft, the same specification (shaft length, lie, etc) as my 4 iron.
Off almost any lie, and especially a tee peg on par 3s, this is amazingly easy to hit. It is dead straight, and consistently about 180 yards, which again, makes it a good 4i replacement for me. In performance terms, I love this club.
But, and this is a big but, it is pig ugly. I know this shouldn't matter, but it does. It also opens a can of worms, as it means I would probably play better if I benched most of my irons and bought more 'game improving' ones.
Back to the practice ground with my 4i I think.
