Just got to get a decent sand wedge to go with them and I'm ready for battle.

Would this be a better choice of sand iron than the standard one that would come with the X-18's????

Great stuff bet you cant wait to get out there,as for the sand wedge yeah the bladed wedge would be far more versatile than a standard one,that wedge looks stunning in the chrome

Well the wedge arrived this morning and it is brand new. Looks and feels perfect.
And I've got a game lined up on Thursday with three mates I haven't played with in ages. Just like old times.
All similar handicaps so should be a good laugh.
First time out with the new bats so hopefully they will give me a couple of extra shots...yeah right!

I meant my mates might give me an extra couple of shots until I get used to the clubs.
I remember when I first got my old John Letters Trilogy's. Couldn't hit them for toffee for the first half dozen rounds, and then they just clicked.
Couldn't shape the ball as well with them though.
Used to hit a lovely draw with my Tandrics
