This was as close as I got to playing today, just too much rain recently, but the it is January I guess.
I was able to work on something I picked up last time out the I forgot which was to keep the width in my takeaway, so pretty happy with that.
How was you golf today? 😀

That wasn't worth picking up and turning my monitor for...
 
I'm in the same boat. We are open...just and in truth probably shouldn't be given the rain last night and this morning. Opted for the range. Hitting ok and very happy overall. Was frustrated by the weather as I really wanted to work on my pitching. Ended up getting a large bucket (120 balls) and just focused on staying connected and making a nice turn back and through without getting too hung up on distances. Very productive and feel like my short game is starting to take shape for 2016

As its Jan I'm not too worried about not getting out but would be nice to get some dry weather soon!!
 
Exactly the same for me too, spent time down the range, working hard on my getting the club-face square at impact. Had a bit of a eureka moment on Thursday when playing, and was working on embedding it! Really hope it does me well for 2016... can't wait for the better weather to come back!
 
Hey James, hope you're well? Kirkistown is actually closed as well, I have never known us to close, shows how much rain there has been our way. Meant to be playing in morning but doubt it will happen. looks like the wee lassie and I will be spending some quality time together. Hate the range
 
All good alan, u? Yep the weather has bee rubbish! But let's hope for good 2016. No golf for me tomorrow, not sure what the plans are ha ha. Hope you get some golf in mate. Enjoy.

Get out in that rain James , test the GG gear to the limit , our course closed today , that doesn't happen very often , not worried bout getting to hit a few balls as we very seldom are closed , will hit the range round end of Feb / start of March for a bit if I go to the course I tend to group up with a few and we just play a few holes ,

Cant beat a bit of alone time on the range to get a bit of feel / timing back ..
 
Last chance for a knock about today before I'm back to work tomorrow and yep you guessed it 'yesterday's rain stopped play' got up and phoned in this morning and was greeted by a 'sorry, still closed' so that's that then, this year has started how last year finished !...😡

Never bothers me missing winter golf , only play it for practice anyhow, it is a pain when ya look forward to game all week & don't get out tho
 
I would have bp, played only 3 9 hoes since Nov I think so not great but the weather has been off so don't mind too much. But I would love a good run of weather come spring summer!
Think the weather is get very cold here next week so it could be March before I'm on the course again :(
 
medal got canceled as weather was getting worse by the minute,so 9 of us decided to do a 9 hole thrash,course is in a bit of a mess to be honest,and as we finished the heavens well and truley opened up and the wind was blowing the flags out of the holes.

Prob be an ICC again this year mate , try get along for a round or 2 , good bunch of lads & Bob ha ha (just kidding Bob)
 
Going to try to get down for a round again this year myself BP, I was really sorry I missed this year, especially if your back at Concra Wood or Farnham Estate, keep in touch James, still Want to get you over to Kirkistown when the weather picks up, you too BP, if you ever fancy a trip to the Ards Peninsula?
 
Sounds good Alan thanks. With the announcement at Michelin I've had a lot on but should settle down this coming year so will make time to get over and your more than welcome to head to Galgorm. Cheers
