My frustration may just have stopped

I have been in the same free fall mode as MashleyR7 for some while. Hit some good ones and bad ones but never striking the ball as well as I did 18 months ago.

I had a fabulous time with Smiffy, Richart and Leftie this week playing at Sundridge and did hit some decent shots but we all knew my overall game was poorer and my handicap has steadily risen from 9.9 to 13.0

So yesterday I decamped to the range with my IPad, recorded several swings and it appeared I was flicking at the ball through impact. So today, having worked to correct the problem I played in our vets league match 4bbb and when we shook hands after 11 holes I had 8 pars and by the 18th had 12.

Let's just hope I can remember what works when I join MashleyR7 for our gold letter comp on Sunday

Well, you did give us a total drubbing, us 2 old codgers with more replacement parts than B & Q, take on you 2 lithe, fit, sports Gods and you thrash us to a humiliating one up defeat on the last with a jammy putt! Oh the embarrassment!
