my email is gettin chocked up

how do i stop email notifications when someone else replies to a thread ive wrote in? ive looked around but cant figure out which box to tick or untick.. so i took a guess and unticked receive emails from admin.. not sure if its worked but will find out soon if someone replies here

Go to General Settings, then to default thread subscription mode. You are probably set on 'receive emails' or something similar, change to' my control panel only'. Works for me.

couldnt see that but cleared out the subscription folder... thanks
