For a while now i've been really pleased with my driving but about a month ago in just went to pot, i couldn't understand it :D.This took my confidence off the tee with it as well but i kind of got on with it but certainly wasn't enjoying my golf.
Last week i used my 3 wood from the tee which i hardly ever use but it worked, it was straight & far so thought i need to do a bit of surgery at the range with my driver.
I played this week & took my 3 wood again off the 1st & it was awful (confidence gone again), i then tried my driver on the 2nd out of desperation & it was sweet, just like it was a month ago. i then used it through out the round on the holes that needed it & it was great, my confidence is back & it will be the first club from the bag at weekend, can't wait. :D :D

Good to hear the magic is back. ;) I have quite a polarised relationship with my driver - things are either great or they're horrendous. The last session I had with my driver nearly drove me insane. At least it can't get any worse ... can it?

I love my driver even when its not finding the fairway. I am hitting it better than any other driver (and believe me there have been many) and even my bad shots aren't as horrendous. When it is on song it is a thing of beauty and the feeling I get when I flush one is so pure. I love the look on my regular Saturday morning partners as I thump one down there. As the shortest in the group by a fair distance to suddenly be level or past them is causing more than one or two grumpy comments.

I am in the same boat, if my driving is going well my game is on form, if not which is more than not my whole game falls apart through lack of confidence.
