My driver

Hi,
This is a two fold question.
firstly I can currently hit my 3 iron, 3 wood and driver a consistent similar distance. I have less control with the driver. Until I have control and significant extra distance from the driver is it worth having it in my bag?
Secondly how do I make the extra distance with the driver?

The should not be going similar distances!

So a couple of questions:

Are you swinging the same with each club? Or do you swing 'normally' with the 3 (same as PW thru 4) and not so much with the 3W and Driver?

Are the flights the same? Or does the 3 go medium, the 3W low and the Driver very high?

I don't feel like I swing the same with the driver. I'm more tense with it.
3 iron path is low and straight, 3 wood higher but less straight.
Im slightly more confident with the iron.
