My club is up for sale

OK so its not wentworth or sunningdale but it is where im based
BOARS Head golf centre in east sussex
it has been put on the market as a very profitable going concern [which it is] as the owner is retiring.
its only a nine hole course but has a great driving range which is open to anyone .
so if anyone has a couple of quid going spare you could own a piece of the sussex country side .
the club opened in 1998 and has a very active membership ,especially with the seniors and ladies sections doing very well. the junior section is very popular with a strong membership and the pros give up a lot of their time with group lessons for the kids.

ps ,i am in no way connected to the owner ,just letting you know its up for grabs.

I dont know Adam, i only found out through the post ,he sent letters to all members just saying that he was retiring and the course is on the market.

Bit of a trend in the UK, golf courses that are for sale are being bought for land for new housing.
