Got my car back today after it's been away for a couple of days with a film crew.
It's been hired by a film company who are using it for a few scenes in an upcoming film called Criminal.
No official release date yet, but, it's starring Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Oldman, Ryan Reynolds, (currently filming in London) and Kevin Costner.
I don't know why, but I'm really excited about it!
Last year it was used in a Sky One series called Critical, which airs in January I believe!
Oh, and it might be making a guest appearance at a H4H event next week!

I can remember thinking that a car in the last episode of Morse had the same, slightly unusual for the model, wheels as mine when I recognised the number plate!

Slightly more hum-drum car I would expect, but the guys who bought it also found that out too - as they mentioned it when the rang up to clarify something.

I have no idea what that kind of car looks like..... is it a car for men with a small willy? :ears:

No ................. it's a car for six men with huge willies!

And here it is;

Good those things bring back awful memories of how bad they were in Kosovo is the snow and ice and In the desert

Thankfully it doesn't have a clansman kit in it

Bad in what way?
Genuinely interested.

Reliability more than anything couldn't handle both the extreme cold and then extreme heat and sand from both areas

Lots of clutch issues in the desert especially and suspect turbo

Useless 4WD in the the heat and only marginally better in the cold

Spent lots of money upgrading and replacing them mid 2000's

Pretty nippy though and quite comfortable whilst driving

Any idea what they were replaced by or what the upgrades were?

Looks a beast. Assuming MPG not great

MPG around town is about 30mpg, but that will become 33mpg if the spare wheel is removed!
Last year I took it to Scotland with Mrs. Slime, lots of luggage and my golf clubs and returned an average of 37mpg, and on the leg from the Lake District to Glencoe I managed 39.4mpg.
I was pleasantly surprised.
I've had it since May last year and have had to replace just one brakelight bulb, which although 24v, was very easy to find.

Phased out ( supplemented ) by Vectors , mastiffs and think Supercats

Wolf couldn't use the Bowman ( too heavy )

Wolfs were then used for in base transport
