Murray on the Brink

or is Nadal struggling ? Didn't see the match, but Nadal's form has dropped off and there could be a new French champion this year.

Nadal was very much below par - Murray played well but you could see Nadal wasn't moving as well as he normally does and the forehand didn't seem as explosive as it normally does

Can see this year being the year for Djokovic to get the slam on all surfaces ticked off

Think you are right there, though it would be good if Murray could win on French clay. He has definitely improved on the surface, and his game should suit clay. Needs to serve well, and get some cheap points.

Didn't see any of it but I believe Nadal reached the final without dropping a set so he must be playing reasonably although he's probably not the monster he once was.

Yeah Murray certainly has a great chance - think him and Djokovic will start to grow a gap between those two and the rest

Sorry, I don't really understand what point your trying to make (apart from the fact that you don't like him. I got that bit). The rest of your post is just a bunch of jumbled up words.

Great result for Murray. Not good for Nadal though losing to Murray on clay. As Liverpoolphil said, Djokovic must be eyeing up a possible Grand Slam. And of course winning the French would complete his personal set.

Wow!

I'll have a small one of what you are on!

wrt JM and coaching tennis....UK Women's game has grow considerably since she took up her role there. And Men's game is growing with Murray's success too! But such growth takes a considerable amount of time and with attitudes like yours is considerably disadvantaged from the start! And as a for 'proper stuck up'', I'd suggest Golf still has a worse image! How many 'sink estate' kids do you see playing The Open or PGA?

As for Murray's result - excellent. Though Nadal hasn't got back to being the unstoppable force he was a little while ago. And, of course, Djokovitz wasn't there!
