Looking for a wee cheapish break in may, been looking at these 2 resorts, has anybody been?? If so what did you think??

I've played Roda. Very playable and we even walked that day. It pipped the Hacienda Del Alimo as the best course on that holiday.

Did you stay in their hotel??

We stayed in Villas in Torrevieja owned by a friend of a friend. We just used taxis to take us to the courses.

Roda better than Hacienda? Jeez when I played Roda it was a field. Hacienda Del Alamo is a stunning track and in far superior condition.

To the OP check out La Finca Golf Course. Utterly stunning course and they also have a 5★ hotel which does some great deals.

Another great track is Lo Romero which has a Sawgrass style 17th green on their par 4 18th. A must play.

You could also try Los Colinas which has villas to rent also. This course will be hosting the European Tour soon its that good.

Look up The Golf Factory for cheap golf ifcyou find separate accommodation.
