Muirfield today, here's a tip for anyone going...

Just back from a great and hot day at Muirfield....been tweeting some pics.


Just a heads up for anyone going...........

1) when you arrive head over to the R&A swingzone beside the Practice range, they are giving free 15 min swing lessons and 15 min putting lessons so book yourself in for later as it will be booked solid from just after lunch- then go eat/see the players knowing you have a time booked.:thup:

2) Take sunglasses, yes I know thats stating the obvious in this weather but it was very hard to see the ball against a bright hazy cloud sky and a bright light brown course

Apart from that it was a pretty good day, friendly marshals and players, pretty well organised, the Park'n'ride works well for anyone doing that, must be the sunshine.:whoo:

It's going to be a belter of an Open with this weather:thup:

Was there yesterday. What a great day it was.

Seen lots of players few autographs and a few pictures. Loved the course.

People show go have a look at the range and see the pros warm up and practice gives you a better understanding of how it's done.

Was such a good day, I've decided to go any extra day on the Friday as well as the Sunday. Really looking forward to it.
