Planning on playing Muckhart in a couple of weeks and my dad is considering making up the fourball. Unfortunately he currently has a problem with his leg and concerned it will be too hilly.

So I was looking for an assessment on the course, I am sure there has been a forum meet there in the past.

thanks
alex

played their last year, its 3 x 9 hole courses, some very nice holes and great views. if your travelling from the stirling area, its difficult to find as no signs for the course on the main road.

I guess it depends on which of the three nines make up the 18 you'll play on the day. Quite a few of the holes we played were hilly, it has to be said. Don't they do buggies there that you could hire for your old man?

the original 2 9s are a bit hilly the newer 9 is a lot longer and more of a trek if thats what your playing,a buggy for your old man would be advisable.

its a cracking course by the way we had a forum meet there nearly 2 years ago and the greens were spot on
