Mrs has banned me from golf this weekend.

Can you believe the cheek of it!! Banned from golf this weekend. She won't even let me play at a course ten minutes up the road. give them an inch and they take a mile. She's using the fact that we have a baby due on Monday as a reason not to play golf. I'm so bored I took her and the three year old to the garden centre. It's weekends like this that make you realise how much a part of my life our great game is.

I suppose if there is one reason to stay off the course this would be it.

The one day it won't be born is Monday!

I was playing golf the day my wife went in to have our first; want scheduled and she didn't even leave a note! Got home to an empty house so went out again for a curry....

Somewhat surprised she was still out when I got in sometime later and was even more surprised when my mother in law rang to see if there was any news????????

Suffice to say that after a rather swift trip to hospital, then a slow one back to get some things for my darling wife, then back again - he arrived a further 10 hours later (and 2 weeks early).

How did we survive without an answerphone - let alone a mobile 😢

My Mrs can't wait for me to get back to the golf, think I'm getting under her feet and watching TV programmes she doesn't like, I'm working towards getting some great me time with being out for a few months, got lots of catching up to do
