mp fli hi. who plays them?

I've got one of the early ones before they were given numbers, 21 degree which I think is the 3 iron model.

It's been out the bag for a while now as there aren't many shots I need it for on my home course, but I'd certainly say it was a club longer than my standard 3 iron. But I think that's partly because it's easier to get a good strike with it than my 3 iron!

It definitely launches higher.

I think Crow has hit it there-as they are 'easier' to hit than a lot of folks 2/3/4 irons then they say they are a club long. For me personally when I used them I found they were 'just right' in terms of gapping up from the 5 iron.

21* one here too. Been a long time since I've had a "proper" 3iron in the bag so can't comment on comparative length - sits very nicely between 4i and 19* chicken stick for me. :)

When I first took up golf it was my main driving club as my £25 wilson driver was wild. My pro got me to ditch my entire set and replace my beginner clubs.

I did keep it and eventually gave it to a friend who was starting out as he could hit it well. Wish I had kept it but I can get plenty out my 3 iron so its no big deal.

Not longer, just easier to hit so the bad ones go further than a bad one with a normal 3 iron etc. I've got a 2 iron one and is great off a tee and the fairway

I've got the 2 iron, goes 300 into the wind.........

Couldn't put it better myself.

I had the 2 and 3 irons for a season or two and the were awesome.

I tend to agree, I had a 3 iron a few years ago and it was easier to hit than a normal 3 iron, but I definitely wouldn't say it went any further. I've still got a 2 iron as well but don't use it that much not the last 2 years anyway. Good for low slinging draw on a links like fortrose where on most holes you don't need a driver and is windy all the time .

I have a 21* one and as said its not really longer than a standard 3 iron just more forgiving. The gap is consistent compared to my 4 iron. I use mine a lot from the tee and find it very useful off tight lies during the summer.

I have the newer the version, the H4s. I find that they sit perfectly in my bag as a 2 & 3 iron replacement. I think maybe the 3i goes a little bit further as I have about a 15 yard gap between my 4i and the H4 3i, but hey when your that far out I do not think it really matters.

I play a 2i in Fli-Hi and a 2i in an H4, except the H4 is bent to 16 degs. Different style clubs with the H4 having a much thicker sole and looks more like a hybrid. My view is that they play the same as their equivalent normal stick.

Great clubs.
