MP-57's - Suitable for 16-18 handicap?

I've seen a set on eBay for a rather enticing price. I really should wait until after Christmas, but I'm impatient.

O.K for a 18(ish) handicapper? (Which should be coming down once I start playing regularly again).

I waited till i was down to 11 to get them, but they are very forgiving. Go to somewhere they sell mizuno they would still have a 7 iron to try. The heads are not as small as blades, plus the hosel is very forgiving

All the more reason to hope she takes the "brick through a window" like hint that I've dropped.

I have a plan B though. Win them myself, get them shipped to her to give to me for Christmas.

This is now the plan because I may or may not have just put a bid on them, completely by accident!

Wish I hadn't put a bid on them so soon though as they're now sitting at £82 (they were at £45)...Don't really want to pay much more than £120 for them.
