Moving handicap to new club

I have just joined a new club and would like to move my handicap to the new club and be classed as an 'away' player at the old club until my subscription expires. Is it as simple as telling new and old club what I want to do? I do have my CDH number.

Yes, it should be as simple as that although both clubs have to agree - and I can't think of any reason they shouldn't agree.
We use Handicapmaster and have experienced problems with clubs using Club 2000 when we have players with membership of 2 clubs. I don't think it is a Club 2000 problem, more a problem with identifying the status of the player correctly on the system.

Very simple really if using Club 2000. Get your old club to "convert you to an away" player on their system, then get the new club to add you, using your CDH ID.

Thank you for the replies. Glad to see it is simple to move the handicap over as the new club is only the second club i have joined.
