mountain biking

anybody into mountain biking??

im looking to do a weekend away from the golf and quite fancy going away on my bike, looking at going probably somewhere around the lakes district, need a campsite thats near to some decent mountain bike trails

any suggestiuons??

im heading south mate, lol, going down the way away from glasgow to get away from all the midges, was planning on fort william but a mate was upo at the weekend and said there is a plague of the little bassas up there

If your contemplating going North I recommend stopping at Wolftrax at Laggen.

I can also recommend a great bunkhouse nearby which has an outside hot tub which is great for relaxing tired muscles and having a beer.

Coed y Brenin is a great place to mountain bike. Just a pig to get to.

Or Dalby Forest - North Yorks Moors, and there's a campsite nearby too I beleive.
