Users of this bag, what are your views please. Does the bag have full length dividers for the clubs ?

Pros and cons from users would be appreciated, been offered one for a decent price.

Cheers

Midnight...

Buy it mate superb bag so light and yes has dividers but no putter section.

Lots of pockets and 2 full length ones also, the only small downside but easy to get over is the pockets are slightly tight but I'm sure that's down to why they are 100% waterproof.

Best bag ive owned by miles.

I have a Dry Series Cart Bag. It claims to have full length dividers, but like every other bag like that, the shafts can still get a bit tangled.

Pros:
It is indeed waterproof.
Insert in base makes it trolley-friendly

Cons:
The diagonal arrangement of dividers doesn't work as well for me as a more traditional "grid" arrangement.
No putter well - if you have a fat grip there's nowhere it would fit.
No umbrella well (just a loop of string and strap for the point)
Difficult to get into some of the smaller pockets
The zips on the front pockets need to be used carefully to get them round the corners - you can't just pull the zipper with one hand and close the pocket.

Overall I'm not especially happy with it and certainly wouldn't have bought it had I known how it would behave in use.

50/50 so far lol.

Why is the umbrella holder[or not]a con.
Easy to attach nothing more needed.

Maybe it's just the way I like to use a brolly...

You've had your brolly up and then it stops raining - for now.
I had always tended to fold it down without fastening the straps and twist it into the brolly well, ready to be whipped out again when it starts raining again. That works in a bag that has a brolly well, but if all you have is a loop of string you can't do that - you have to fold it up properly and use two hands to feed it back into the loop.

OK, it's not a big deal, but when I pay £140 for a bag, I'd prefer if it had everything just to my liking.

The issue with the zips will be on every waterproof bag because the material it's made from doesn't hold its shape at all. Small price to pay imo.

Give mine a 9.5/10

The only very slight issue is the umbrella holder but I overcome by when it's been in use and I want to put it away that I just slip it into the top loop but don't tighten , then slip the handle under the trolley holder if that makes sense.

Fair point

The bag itself is great but the external putter well is poor and won't take anything much bigger than a supersize 2.0 grip. The base of the well gave way on mine so the putter ended up going into the inside of the bag iteself. Some good points but not for me again with the external well

This is the beauty of the forum, be boring if we all had the same views.
I can handle the umbrella issue though.

Thanks for everyone's input so far.

I was going to get one but I couldn't see why it was worth spending the extra money for a waterproof bag when they clubs will get wet anyway. So went for the lite series bag which is superb - they seem to have sorted out the zips breaking , lots of space , decent size pockets and very light. It's been out in the rain a number of times and clubs have been fine.

Cheers Phil, I know you play a lot of golf mate, is that in all conditions ? Only asking as I tend to play no matter what the weather is like and was thinking waterproof is the way to go.

Yes mate played in every condition - played last week and it was heavy drizzle ( the stuff that annoys you and gets you wet ) - bag was fine and everything inside was dry. It has the external putter and umbrella well. Only worry is the material is a bit thin so it could be easy to rip but no issues so far

Cheers mate, that gives me something else to think about.😁😁

I have the cart bag. Im not convinced. The pockets are just not well arranged, i dont like the umbrella storage, i cant get all my stuff in the big pockets, other pockets are tight, the handle is under the bag, so theres no obvious way to pick it up, its white, my fault, its waterproof, which is good. Buy again? No, there is better out there. But it does fit my motocaddy trolley well.

I had the dry series. For about 3 rounds......

it it was alright as they go. Played once in torrential rain and everything was bone dry. But as has been mentioned. If you've got any grip on your putter that isn't nice and thin, good luck getting it in. A few of the diveiders were snug on other clubs too. And pretty sure the full length is maybe u til the last inch as grips certainly hit into others.

If if you're going to go motorcade, I'd advise eBay, I can have a look for the shop I used, but effectively shop seconds, much like the trolleys they sell and at good discounts. Paid £90 I belive for my dry series. Sold it for £115 when decided to change.
