Most playable winter courses in West of Scotland

So as with a lot of courses in winter ours can be lets say not the best- a fine course tho it is when the weather is poor can mixture of boggyness when wet or frozen stiff due to being a bit higher up.

Have heard a lot of the coastal courses down Ayrshire are better with the salt air so don't freeze as easily.

So anybody from around here what course are good for winter golf in your opinion?

most links courses, but some would still be frozen with the current temperatures in Scotland. We are on frost holes as its -2 here and due to get colder. Even Fortrose which is more or less in the middle of the moray firth and rarely freezes is on temp greens as its frozen solid
