Watched a bit of Setanta today and saw Carlos Franco.

It reminded me of several years ago at Wentworth, his caddy and the other 2 guys in his 3 ball were on the tee and CF nowhere to be seen!

Not been on practice tee,not seen on putting green!

For those who know the club, picture the scene..........All but caddy shuffling around looking worried when himself strolls from clubhouse whistling and pulling on glove, shakes hands all round, pops his driver from the bag, waggles it a bit, looks down fairway ,holds out hand for ball, pegs it up...........rips it onto downslope 150 from green!!!

I would have had his babies there and then.

Don't think you have to look much further than Westwood on the European circuit. Whether he is shooting 65 or 80 he has the same demeanour about him on the course and once the round is over cest la vie

Over the pond our old mate big bad Boo Weekly seems pretty chilled. Grateful to just be out there doing what he loves he just takes life as it comes

Lee looked a bit tense yesterday!!

Take your point tho,and you are so right about BOO, only playing golf so he can buy a FURM, and go shooting BUURRR!!!

Fred couples, Darren Clarke, Miguel Angel Jiminez and costantino rocca all strike me as either relaxed or exciteable in the better sense of the meanings. If someone sinks a putt or creams a 4 iron out of the rough, id prefer a little animation or at least a grin, means they are human like us.

any of the boys from the southern hemisphere look as if they are constantly ready for their bed,
ie , Els, the goose, immelmen and Campbell

I love Jiminez, Belly out, confident swagger, cigar in mouth, yup, thats a bit of me.

agreed. First pick for a fantasy round.

I don't have televised golf (mores the pity) so have to judge from odd bits ive seen over the years but Fred Couples always struck me as having a languid swing. Els is also a quiet, laid back giant.

Failing that- anyone that doesn't spit in a cup or on the course is a good start.

Monty in the early 90's used to annoy me with his little strops so gets struck off straight away.

I'm right up there with MWJ though - Jimenez it is:D
