Most irritating?

It may be just me as I am on these forums a lot lately .
I have "bursitis" in my groin and resting.
I am really getting twitchy with the Taylormade drop down ads and also the relentless new threads from Johnnydee.
Both harmless in isolation but a like a dripping tap a little wearing.
Probably not helped by my present predicament or my age.
I do have my "flak" jacket on.

The TM ad is doing my tree in. It opens up even when the mouse is nowhere near it.

The new threads doesn't bother me at all. I like them, but if you don't it's just a case of not looking isn't it?

Starting a new thread 'complaining' about excessive new threads being started.

And about the TM ads - about which there have been several other threads!

Roll on the 'proper' Golf season - and get well soon! :whistle:

PS. Like many others have noted - Adblock is a revelation! And as I've stated before, I'm normally keen to support the advertisers that support the Forum, but it's got to be my choice, not theirs!

This thread is going to turn into an Ironic vicious circle isn't it? People moaning about people starting threads moaning about people starting threads... I like it..
 
New threads are the lifeblood of a forum surely and you really don't have to look at them if you choose not to
 
Johnnydee should keep making new threads! He's new and is enjoying posting and learning. A lot of the old hands on here might have heard and seen all he's posting by it's people joint and doing this that keeps forums fresh! If you don't like it don't click on his threads.its that simple.
As for the TM adverts, I agree it's very annoying, didn't think we were allowed to talk about it though as every thread iv seen on it seems to get deleted.

As to other suggestions.
I downloaded adblocker but it locked me out from my tablet so I uninstalled it,strangely my tablet now seems to a little quicker.
Anyway thanks for all the replies,it is just me then.
Just noticed I have not had the dropdown ad since getting rid of adblocker,result.
