Most emotional/disturbing scene in a movie?

My missus wouldnt watch Saving Private Ryan the other day as she didnt like some of the scenes as found the beach assault and when he was at the grave upset her!

what film scenes have really left a mark on you?

I know they are only films and not real but sometimes we can get really drawn in

Yep - this film properly breaks me. I find the start of Saving Private Ryan harrowing too, the scene at the graves especially. I was going to mention Marley and Me but that's a bit girlie. Oh. Whoops. Too late!
