Morning all....only 2 weeks til I board the plane for Turkey. I'm going with the wife and sprog, but will be taking my sticks too. We're off to a mates' place in Belek....smack in the middle of 7 or 8 top notch courses...yesssssssss! I have a couple of rounds booked already and hope to pursuade HID that it would be rude to turn down an invite to play with the English guy that lives next door a couple of times too (just working on my plan for how to get him to ask me :))

Anyway, with mornings taken care of on the course, I am looking for suggestions for occupying my afternoons by the pool/beach...so, any good books you can recommend? Golf themes especially, but I am open to offers!

Thanks in advance

Hi,
just finished 2 books that are nothing to do with Golf, which I found a very funny read.

They are called Horses Arse and Foxtrot Oscar both by Charlie Owen.

Basically if you like the Sweeney or Life On Mars , then these books make a cracking read.

Hope you have a good hols and play lots of golf.

Midnight...

I wouldnt chip into his pool, he may think you cant play. What about asking his advice on somewhere to play, surely if he was ever going to ask you, that would be the que!
