Recently Ive been keeping more stats to help me with my game, Fairways in Reg, Greens in Reg, How many Putts, Number of up and downs.
I'm pretty sure what area of my game needs looking at, I'm going show you my stats and id like some feedback

Round 1 - Score 75 - 7/12 Fairways - 7/18 Greens - 35 Putts - 8 pars - 10 bogeys - 2 up and downs

Round 2 - Score 79 - 7/12 Fairways - 6/18 Greens - 37 Putts - 5 pars - 13 bogeys - 0 up and downs

Round 3 - Score 75 - 8/12 Fairways - 5/18 Greens - 31 Putts - 9 pars - 9 bogeys - 4 up and downs

Its pretty obvious not hitting the greens enough is not doing me any favors, but i must add my greens at my course are quite small.
I do also think my chipping needs working on, i always thought that was a good area of my game , looks like its not

Any feedback or advice appreciated

There is a saying in my industry...

The more you measure the greater your control.

I spend all day tracking stats, its actually the last thing I want to do when I play golf! I just go out, hit a ball and enjoy it. If I started tracking all my numbers it would feel like my job.

Ive been doing it for 3 rounds cause i want to know what areas i need to improve its basic info but i think helpful. also all i do is just mark it down on the score card as i play, its not really taking up time or interfering in my game

As well as the bit youve pointed out missing greens only a couple from the fairway, putts seems fairly high for decent mid 70's scoring, if as you pointed out greens are fairly small you shouldn't have huge first putts but there looks to be hardly any single putts?

they are small greens but not tiny, a few have alot of movement in them, i generally 2 putt the odd 1 putt and 0 putt

your stats don't add up at all to me

have you really not made worse than a bogey in 3 rounds? Is par 65 or 66?

Dont appear to hit enough greens from the fairways stats for me (maybe explained by small greens), dont get it up and down very often (know that feeling lol) and also too many putts (def too many if small greens) but struggling to get the full picture

I should add dont really see the need for stats, surely you know which bits of your game work well and which dont

how short is the course? might be worth you playing a few par 72 courses and looking at how your stats look then
its not the longest course ever 5400 yards, alot of narrow fairways, the pay 3s are the hardest part about the course
4 of the 6 par 3s are 180 plus

ok quite hard to assess based on that. Think Id look to work on the short game and putting mainly, always the key to good scoring and even more so on what is quite a short course

Would help to know what handicap you are, but number of putts does seem to be too high.

This could well be because your chips are not getting close enough for a 1-putt.

A disclaimer/warning. These stats can be very misleading - and are very often course specific. Better to compare rounds - for (hopefully positive) trends. I don't worry about FWs hit particularly, but subtract GIRs from total Putts. The closer to 18 the better. On 1 course I play, below 26 tends to be really good, above 30 bad. On another I'm 'happy' with 3 or 4 more!

Looks like your chipping is poor as you're not chipping close enough to be able to make the putts when you're missing greens.

Also you're not hitting enough greens. You should make it on some even from missed fairways.

Not one birdie in 3 rounds? Are you short off the tee? Is that why you're not hitting greens?
