Moor Allerton GC - which 18?

I can't really answer your question as I've only played 2 of the loops and I can't remember which, but I loved it at MA.. Great course and it's a great modern clubhouse with a nice large patio for enjoying a drink or 6.. Just don't expect a bacon sandwich before teeing off...

Just remembered.. PM Chiefi0 from this parish.. I'm sure he's still a member there and will have a better idea...

1-18 IMHO, but the whole place is 27 "proper" holes, and doesnt feel like 9 added on, as an afterthought.

The 27th is a cracking par 5 though, so no bad thing if you do any other comination. Ive played it about 8-10 times for free, always loved going up there.

Was it 1-18 we played Pedro?

I really enjoyed the course, greens were ridiculously fast but soft, still not sure how they managed that!!

Cracking place all round, I'll definitely go back at some point.

Don't remember playing with you......

I did play there with a load of NW lads, and yes we did play 1-18, but I was very hungover.;)

We played 1-18 and it was early nice. As NWJ said, soft greens, but the were rapid. The Euro pro tour was there the following week and they were playing 10-18....

Its a stunning setup at Moor Allerton, very impressive looking out over the course from the clubhouse.
As the others have said..we did 1-18 but you could see some of the other 9 and its definately 27 strong holes.
Good that you can get a game on a Saturday too..Great for a weekend away if you can tie in one of the other good local courses.

We have booked in on the August Open at Moortown. Decided to play late on after 3pm and squeeze in another early in the morning (on a buggy) and Moor Allerton @ 35 quid seemed a great option.

As others have said you can use any combination of the 3 to make up your 18. With regards the recognised 18 the Euro Pro tour is played on holes 10-27 but I don't really know why. I would guess that it's because it's the longest combination. Personally I prefer 1-18, it may depend on how I scored the week before. ;). Which ever you play I hope you enjoy it.
