is one miserable *******!
had an enjoyable day at birkdale yesterday watching the seniors open
but what a miserable bugger monty is.
there he was trudging round the course with a face like thunder, totally ignoring
the support he was getting from the large crowd following him round, it must be
a nightmare being a multi millionare golfer!
i'd read a quote from him last week saying how much he was looking forward to
making his debut on the seniors tour and how he would be able to enjoy his golf more in the
less pressured environment.

no I don't smile all day at work
nor do I have a few hundred people following me round cheering me on
nor do I get paid millions
i'm not saying monty should be laughing his way round, but a bit of recognition to the crowd who are
paying to watch him would of been nice

I saw him on the practice putting green before his round and he was laughing and joking with he crowd... Must have caught him at different points.... He also 3 putted the last green and went straight back on to the practice green and putted until he holed 6/6 from the distance he missed his third putt from.... He still left chatting and joking with the onlookers. Just a matter of timing I guess....

Just saw his female counterpart on the tv CHRISTINA KIM wow what a happy go lucky 4 ball that would be,just saw her Efin and jeffin on the green,she tried 4 times to flick her club up with her foot on the tee and when she finally did it (think she has trouble bending her back lol)the 3people watching her match clapped only to be met with a look that could kill,she is probably the worst person of both sexes to tread the fairways.

Been to a couple of senior events... Vast majority play the game in a very relaxed laid back manner as befitting of those that have been around the block a few times... Think Monty will have to lighten up a bit or he will continue to stick out like the proverbial sore thumb...

I know he can do it as I have met him and he is generally of an affable nature...

Ive met him once and had the pleasure of playing a hole with him at the carrick last year. A total gent.
