twice in the space of a few months.

first change was to a 35 instead of a 34 inch shaft, then I wanted some alignment help. I putt pretty well with all 3 putters.

each change hasn't made me putt any better. I just fancied a change. its all about pace and picking a line anyway. the putter is just a tool.

I didn't change my putter for about 2 and a half years before this.

I changed 3 times in a year after having the same putter for 5 years. Now on a Mizuno MP-T 106 and seem to have settled on it. It combines the mallet head, milled face and clear alignment that I got from all of the previous 3 putters, just each one had a singular different attribute :D

That and it's just a stunning looking bit of kit...

Same putter for the last 10 years (almost).

Occasional trials of others, but keep going back to this one!

3times since season start :(

First was a complete style of putter change, looked and felt great but I couldn't hole a putt for love nor money.

Went back to a blade but a really short shaft. Then extended that shaft after a few weeks and feel very happy with it now

Changed mine about 18 months ago and it'll take a lot to prize it out of my hands. It suits me and my game so it's staying in the bag for a long long time.

Not one who changes putters regularly so mine has been in the bag since Jan 2009.

One before that lasted from 2001-2009 and the one before that from 1995-2001 ;) Can't afford to change putters spend too much on changing drivers :D

I changed mine last year and I'm putting better now than I did then, but I think that's more to do with getting a lesson and establishing a routine. I'm not entirely convinced that the current blade is the best choice for my game and I have a wedge of money sitting in the pro shop, so...

I was fitted for my Scotty at the start of 2012. Had a brief fling with a Bettinardi putter that didn't last. Stayed with the Scotty throughout.

A few months back - after I bent down to retrieve my ball, stood on the putter head and straightened up with just a shaft in my hand.
It was £20 and I loved it.
It replaced the same "model" from about 6 months previous.
That time I was walking down the fairway and heard what I thought was a ball land behind me.
I looked back to see my putter head on the floor.
It just fell off.
I now have an Odyssey White Ice 7 - a "replica" of my other two :).

16 May 2013, Forest of Arden, Ping & GM custom fitting day.

Changed from my Scotty X5 to Ping Answer (see sig). I had the Scotty for about 3 years before that however.

Don't intend changing for the foreseeable future :putt:

I've ticked "3 months" but that doesn't tell the whole story.

If the question was "how many times have you changed putter in the last 3 months" I would have answered 4.

It's not my fault, I must keep getting defective ones!

I dropped my Fisher Putter at start of June for an MD Seve I had in the cupboard.

I will be changing again soon, just need to build up some more sweep money.

Latest putter arrived on Monday. Giving it the rest of the season but keeping hold of the MD Killarney in case it seriously misbehaves

I've had circa 12 putters in the last 3 years but the Killarney has been a constant

Had mine for about 3 years (think I bought my current one around this time of year in 2010)but it was the first real putter I'd bought as the previous one came in my set of beginners clubs.....mine has started to sound a bit metallic as I putt now so I may have to look into replacing fairly soon.

I've never really been fitted for a putter, can anyone recommend me somewhere up north that would do a proper fitting?

Lost confidence in my Odyssey and went back to the Ping Anser 2 today. Much happier with it and definitely prefer a blade to a half mallet. Odyssey demo day on Friday so will see what bladed versions they have to try
