Just say the first tee time for your monthly medal is 07.30 and the last is at 4pm and each tee time is booked solid from start to finish, how long would the last groups take if the first group took 5 hours to play 18 holes?

no way of telling really , groups in the middle could fall back a bit , if a few people missed their tee times by 4 mins took the penalty & played , few groups could walk in at that rate ..Just say the first tee time for your monthly medal is 07.30 and the last is at 4pm and each tee time is booked solid from start to finish, how long would the last groups take if the first group took 5 hours to play 18 holes?

Well if everyone followed the same 5hr round and all started and maintained equal times throughout the round then the 16:00hrs tee time would finish at 21:00hrs.
16:00hrs + 05:00hrs = 21:00hrs
Of course that's assuming everyone playing a perfect round, not stopping and no hold ups, round duration would also depend on where your par 3's are and what par follows them as to how long people would end up getting stacked on the par 3 and how much time could then be made up on the following holes.
Would it be fair to say that generally a 5 hour 4 ball going out first could dictate the speed of play ALL DAY ?

Tee times would get delayed as the groups build up though so it would be even longer.
Did a bit more working out, see the edit in my first post, but I reckon the last group would be looking at 22:45hrs finish.

Surely that can't be right? I don't think I've ever seen a 6 hour 45 minute round? I can't refute your logic, but surely there must be something wrong somewhere, otherwise this would be more common?
