monty is a legend ,just watched him with palmer, player and jack ,respect given all round superb,old arnold is as sharp as a tack and di will be putty in montys hands by the end of the week :)
 
I haven't watched tonight yet, been watching the football.
Got all the golf on Sky plus.

Watched the preview show last night and thought he was a class act, Monty that is. Very authoritative on all aspects of the game. Big up to him for what he said last night as to why he never won a Masters, citing his short game and putting not being good enough.

Looking forward to seeing more of the same. :cool:

I think Butch is the best of the lot. The only one of em who actually gives interesting insights. Reckon he has got some charisma aswell!

Each to their own I guess....
 
"Diana" Dougherty to you reprobates. (DiDo!) Got a bit of a surprise at the change of first name on Sky the other day. Liking the brunette look though. What more can she change, I wonder?
 
Monty is undoubtedly intelligent and has interesting things to say, but to me he always seems slightly embarrassed at being there. Maybe just that his his voice is rather soft.

Butch is a real character and I love his delivery. He must know his stuff and I love the fact he is steeped in golf. He's almost like an American version of Alliss - famous golfing father, knows everyone, tons of anecdotes. Butch definately has better insights though.
 
There are far worse than Monty and he was hardly given much in the way of golf to talk about, just the filler spots.

Butch I'm not sure about, I've heard him spout his share of drivel in the past. Now that I have access to the masters, I'll keep an ear open.

So that's the famous Di - vaguely disappointed, though I'm not sure what I was expecting.
