Despite having been in or around Cat1 for several years now I have never shot level par in a medal round before. Numerous one over par rounds and under/level par in matchplay rounds.

Played in a scratch open at Bognor Regis today and stood on the 18th tee in the afternoon round level par with a 430 yard par 4 into the wind to finish. Driver, 6 iron onto the green left me a 30ft right to left putt over a rise and down the other side. The ball just caught the right edge and dropped in for birdie :)

So for the first time I have now shot under par, broken 70 and following a 0.7 cut this afternoon got a 4 for the first number in my handicap (4.7)

I am feeling ever so slightly smug right now :ears:

Superb shooting D4S, enjoy the moment squire.

Congratulations d4s, you deserve to feel good after that round😃
