Hi. I am a thirteen year old golfer playing off a handicap of 21 and I'm looking for a new set of irons.
I have been looking for some time but the best one I came across was the Cobra FP's. The assistant in my local golf shop recommended the Mizuno MX-19's and they didn't look too bad. The golf shop doesn't have anywhere I could try the clubs out so I had to look hard on the internet about trajectory and specifications.
Can anybody please tell which you think are better and even other one's you recommend? I'm looking for irons under 450euro's.
Thanks,:D

PS: I'm quite accurate with short irons although I have a huge problem with long irons. I also have a very high ball flight. I currently own a set of Ram Demons.

roccokj,

If I was in your position I would not buy clubs until I had tried them out. Try and find a range where you can lash out with them. I don't go along with stats from web sites as I have the same irons as my mate and we hit the ball differently even though our gear is identical.

Where are you by the way??

Good luck pal.

You need to try them out so you'll need to find a range that stocks them or a club with a practice facility. You need to see how the ball flies and how far. You can't go on online specs alone. It has to feel right in your hand and alos look god behind the ball to your eye.

Also if you are struggling with your longer irons you may need to look at ditching the 3 (I would anyway) and probably the 4 iron and replacing them with hybrids which are far easier to hit.
