Mizuno mx 960 irons

Does anyone know anything about these irons? They claim to be suitable for mid-high handicappers and I just fancied getting myself a budget Christmas prezzie.

Heard of MX900s and MX 950s that evolved from the 900s but not 960s.

Got a set of MX900s in the garage that are not to bad off lush turf as they have a deep sole, not too good off hard tight lies on a summer links course though.

Quite easy to hit as well.

if I were you Id buy a set mizuno mx 17 from golfbidder,for
around 150 quid for a s-hand set,very forgving and will
definitley lower your handicap

I have some 900s (5-PW) and have also played with 950s. To the best of my knowledge if a 960 was made (!?), it would be similar.
Neither is overly forgiving or in any way as good as the hype.
I love my 900s, especially the 8/9/PW which are a plain cavity backed club.
The 900s are rated under 500 on the MPF. I'd say that was about right given I've played endless sets around the 700 mark over the years.
There are better choices for a mid or high h'cap player.

Don't know about those, but very pleased with my MX-100's - available at very good prices right now.
