Just been reading elsewhere that they're being dropped after only a year, rather than the two year life cycle that Mizuno traditionally have.

A lot of speculation as to whether the new MP 53 is their replacement or the JPX 800 Pro.

Either way. Come September, it could be a good time to buy the 300's at a good price.

Is this the start of Mizuno following the crowd and releasing new product more often?
If the 300's are not selling well then the bean counters willhave their way.
To the player these clubs are aimed at, many can't see a real difference between these and the 200's.

As someone else said elsewhere. Maybe they're to GI to be a players club, and to much of a players club to appeal to the GI players.

Not so sure about that myself. But I think the current line up might be a tad confusing to the average punter. If I remember correctly.

From the blades down.

The 100's and 200's are at the end of the 2 year lifecycle. The 52's can't be far off either.

Perhaps it's all about media attention. How do you stay in the golfing press for free? Easy. Release a new club regularly. Something that some makes are very good at!

I think the range is slightly confusing. I remember someone in marketing telling me that the reason BMW did so well was that as a buyer you automatically knew which model was right for you, whereas in some other makes you didn't. I think Mizuno has over complicated their range and caused some confusion. I could have chosen any of 3 or 4 of the irons before deciding on one of them. The 300 is a club that sits across the GI and players ranges, and is used by pros and 15 handicappers.

Paul our equipment man is at the new Mizuno product launch today so all will become clear soon!

The 52's are finished. Mizuno hardly have any left.

I was at the fitting centre two weeks back and he made a call to check stock with their HQ.
