Does anyone have these? If so can you let me know your opinions on them please.

Can currently pick them up for £49 each so was thinking of getting a couple to go with my new MP59's (which according to DPD should be getting delivered in 1 Hour 10 minutes).

Currently have the MP T10's but these are a few year old now and wont look right in my bag next to the shiny new irons.

Cheers

I like the straighter leading edge over the 'round' edge wedges. I feel I can open/close/aim better with that. I have MP-T11 which is still shiny. The MPT4's only come in white satin and black so not as shiny as the 10/11's.

Seems a good price, might look at that myself. This might help.

I have 3 of them (cue Bob), the 56/10, 52/7 & 60/5, I really like them, the triple groove face really helps you control the ball, especially when chipping over bunkers or hazards with little green to work with. I like the spread of bounce also which helps me choose the right wedge for the ground condition. If I ever changed my irons, I wouldn't change these wedges, their in the bag to stay.

As posted a couple of days ago, I picked up a 56 degree for £20 brand new from AG... bargain.

Went straight home and bought a 50 degree for £50 from Direct Golf.

They seem a lot more versatile than anything I've used before. In fact, I'm going from a 49, 52, 58 combo to just the 50 and 56, leaving space in the bag for another club (not that I need one). I'm considering buying a 64 degree just for kicks.

The 56 has enough bounce to get me out of bunkers and is good enough to get me out of trouble when I'd previously use the 58.

Feels lovely off the face, quite a heavy head compared to my previous Ping Tour S wedges but I don't know how it compares to Vokeys etc.

Perfect time for buying them as the new MP15s are out, but I don't see them coming down lower than £50 as the stock will definitely sell out at that.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Unfortunately your not helping me to save my money with all the positivity :D.

Looks like i might have to pull the trigger on a 52 and 56...i won't get 3 as i wouldn't like to upset bob!

I have 2, a 52° and a 58°.

I've always found them to be excellent. I've had mine for getting on for 18 months and had them fitted along with my irons in early Feb '13.

They still spin the ball pretty well. I didn't think I'd find a wedge as versatile as my old T10 wedges, but these play really well.

The only advise I would offer would be to get the satin finish over the black nickel.

The latter finish ages very quickly. If you're one for wanting pristine looking clubs, get the satin finish.

I bought them because of the straightish leading edge.

As fish said there's a good spread of bounce angles, but the thing I don't like is they all have the same 'big fat sole' grind on them.
I had the 60 ground down so the leading edge hardly moves off the ground when you open the face up.

Ive got MP10 and won't be changing any time soon. Look pretty beat up but plenty of life left in those groves and wont be changing until the become illegal (in 2026 i think?)

Yeah, got 3, 50,54,58. Great wedges...doubt there is much difference in technology, especially in wedges...just a case of what looks good, and these do in my opinion. I have mine in the darker something-or-other-nickel finish.
I do find i can go weeks and weeks without using the 58...to the point of thinking i don't need it and then all of a sudden i'll use it half a dozen times in one round.

In summary....Go for it at that price!

Had the T4 since June 2013 and they are by far the best wedges I have ever owned. I have had Vokey, Cleveland and TM but they T4 are far superior to them. My 50* is used for nearly all my shots around the green including opening it up slightly to use from shallow bunkers. I find it easy to make them check up real quick when there isn't much green to play with.

anyway not sure if my love affection has helped, but that is my opinion on them
