Cold winter's night indulgent thread. I know the answer is try them all on a tracker & see what works. I know what person A did won't be right for me, just a bit of fun.

I still think these are great looking clubs, those who had them on the forum what replaced them for you?

Mate of mine had them, wore them out and switched last year to TM Rocket Bladze, he liked them.

I had a 6 iron for a while as a practice club, but IMO these where the least forgiving Clubs Mizuno have ever made, sweet spot the size of a pin head.

using them will improve you're ball striking;)

Never owned them but like you think they look amazing, often find myself looking at them on eBay but would purely be for an indulgence as they ain't gonna be an improvement on my i20's.

Think Patrick hit the nail on the head, they weren't the most forgiving club Mizuno ever made. I had MP30s, their predecessor and they were easier to hit.

Not sure what was the next progression, MP57s possibly, the ye weren't too bad in the shorter clubs, but, a flihi in place of the longer irons was a sensible option.

Excellent clubs that i had for about 3 year before changing to mp53's, that have since been replaced by the 59's. Must admit i didn't think the 53 offered much more forgiveness that the 60. The 60's were great irons, even the 3 iron that i used to be able to hit quite well.

If mizuno still made them i would certainly consider a new set

I have an old set they're my winter set now but only because they're quite worn especially the scoring clubs, still a lovely iron though and well worth the £70 I paid for them :D

Cheers for the replies guys. Good to see some of the comments.

Had never considered they might be more difficult than the 30s, which I know have a good rep.

D4S, have been thinking of going for a try of the Orkas, their website seems to have been re-launching for weeks now though.

john0 - you have a PM

Not sure what's going on there Ian, just googled it and see what you mean about the website. If you want any more info about my clubs drop me a pm.

The only reason I bought these was looks.
Worked like a dream when I was playing week in week out. Actually bought a second set in stiff as I was overpowering the R300s.
Nowadays as I get out less frequently, my old MX20s have knocked the MP60s into the long grass!:D

Always fancied a set of MP60, irons and have been looking on ebay for a set. I play off 15 and am concerned they may not be the best choice. How do the MP57 irons compare?

I would be buying the 60s justvas an indulgence but some of the comments above are making me think twice now.

MP57 are very forgiving, one of Mizuno's best IMO. Always regret getting rid of mine:(

Still got them and still love them!

Had Mizuno TP9's before the MP60's and they were truly great irons.
