Had an opportunity to pick up a set of these cheap so I am off to pick them up later today. 3-PW with rifle 5.5 shafts.

Don't know too much about them really and just wanted to get a general view if anyone on here plays them and where they sit in the Mizuno 'family' in terms of forgiveness etc.

If they don't suit, I will pass them on but the offer was too good to turn down.

Yeah, seen photos and must admit they look nice. Interested to see the comparison between my s59's which I am happy with, but can be quite unforgiving.....especially when I was thinning them at the range

I used to play with a guy who had them, He recd they were not very forgiving and traded them in for the Mp57. Nice looking clubs though.

Great clubs, suitable for a decent player. I used a set when I was off 9 and liked them a lot. I swapped for the next version in the same design, the 62s. If the shaft suits, and the price is right, may be worth a punt. Rifle 5.5 plays a shade softer and higher than S300. Nice feeling shaft.

Ethan - I have never player Rifles before, always DGs300's but currently have DGs400 which are quite heavy but launch very low...which I don't mind. I guess the Rifles are lighter and a have a higher launch?

I had them and off my handicap didn't get the best from them but they were really nice clubs. If you are a single figure golfer they would be excellent.

I tried them after playing with my MP30s, however the 57s were launched so I went for them instead. Quite similar in many respects to the MP57s and the MP FliHi of a couple of years back.

Well worth a try ;)

They will feel a bit lighter than S400 for sure, launch a bit higher and play a bit softer.

Same as Ethan.....I had a set of second hand MP60's which were so good, I went and traded them in for new MP62's which I've still got. Currently swapping between these and the Nike VR pro blades, (and the MX200's I got for the winter... )

You won't go far wrong with the MP60's.

Picked them up tonight and I must admit they look the business. There is wear on the scoring irons but the lad that i got them from was obviously a player as its all in tbe right places  He also sold me a couple of MPT series wedges in black nickel- so got the lot now. Got my first game of the year at Princes in a couple of weeks so they will get their first airing then......can't wait :D
