Mizuno MP18 SC irons

Anyone own these?

Been looking and like the look. Managed to hit the MMC version but was underwhelmed by the clicky feel.

How close to a proper Mizuno MP iron are these in terms of feel / sound

Ie MP-4 or older Mp’s

Yep - have had them since March

I have the MMC in the 3,4 ( hi fli ) and 5

Took me a while to get used to them ( more the shaft ) but now love them , feel lovely , look lovely and I think they sound nice especially when out of the middle.

But if I was looking now I would look towards the JPX tours

when i tried all 3 of the MP 18 models i found no gain at all against my MP4's, even the MMC and SC. i felt they didn't feel anywhere like as good as the blade model.
i would try all 3 against each other and see what you think

I found them really nice with proper golf balls, not so with range balls.

Fancy some myself but been told to hold back by the pro

I’m currently torn between

Mp18, jpx tour 900, srixon 765

I’ve a combo set thats been in the bag longer than anything. They are ace but I would like less chunky looking clubs from 4-6

Probably won’t sell them straight tbh

Just got an itch to scratch and love that dull Mizuno feel of old.

Really annoyed I never bought some MP-5’s when I had the chance
