Does anyone use these?

Have the money saved up for some new wedges and wondered what peoples' thoughts were as compared with, say, the staple Vokey or aftermarket Icy Wedges?

Thanks.

Wedges are kinda like putters in that they are personal. I use the MP R12, the round version of the T4 and I think they are the best golf clubs I have ever bought let alone the best wedges.

Got 2, a 52° and a 58° and they are lovely.

If I'm being honest, stick with the Raw or Chrome and avoid the Black Nickel option.

I plumped for the nickel option and after about 15 months of use they look like they've had years of use :(

If the cost is similar, I'd go the ICYGolf Custom Fit/'tailored for me' way.

That said, I don't believe there's such a thing as a 'bad' wedge out there - just a case of finding the ones that work for you!

Never really been a fan of Vokey style, but love the look of the SM5s!

I use 52 and 56 T4 wedges and find them the best I have used. The R12 was too round but the T4 is, personally for me, much better sized and shaped.
As someone that finds Vokeys too heavy the T4s sit in what I would describe as middle weight.

Thanks for the opinions all - definitely some food for thought.

Those who play the T4, do you buy into the different groove profiles for the differing lofts of wedge?

Again, I use the R12 but its just the same wedge with a different shape and I kinda buy into it in that I am far more likely to use my 50* gap wedge as an iron than I am say my 58* lob wedge. The draw back is that in this series of wedges there is a pretty small selection of bounce options. This for me was not a problem as I like that there is little on my gap and more on sand and lob. That being said I happen to know from the Mizuno forums that there are a lot more bounce options coming in the soon to be announced replacement for the T4.

I think there was a thread about these a while back and everyone who used them said they were good! I did have a pair that were very good but bag matching OCD means I moved them on....

Tried the T4s last year when I was looking for replacements for my old worn R series wedges. They were nice and I probably could have gotten used to them, but, the R12s just suited my eye and ball striking that little bit better.

Remember you can order the Mizuno wedges with various shaft option, you don't just have to take the bog standard W flex offering as it doesn't neccisarily suite everyone :)

My intention was to get them ordered with the same shafts in my MP-54s (PX 5) if possible. Same shafts throughout then. The reason I was thinking Mizuno rather than other offerings is because I use their irons and their shaft upgrade options are usually included within the price.
