With most of my existing pairs of golf shoes getting a bit worn and tatty, I decided to invest in a couple of new pairs to wear in the improving weather. I have already posted about the problems with the Adizero shoes but these have turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
I was a bit bored with some of the more traditional looking shoes and decided to give theseMizuno shoes a punt despite the fact that I was not aware of them having much of a pedigree in the golf shoe market.
First up were the looks. When I opened the box I was suitably impressed. Quite a modern looking design, nice bright colour against the black and overall a good looking shoe. What really impressed, however, was the level of arch support. The inner just seemd 'right' supporting my feet in all the right places and after a round in them they were as confortable as anything I have owned. During the swing they feel stable and the slightly unusual spike design offers excellent grip.
Whilst not leather, the uppers do not feel cheap and are made of an excellent synthetic material. comfortable to wear and very breathable which only adds to the comfort.
So, for the £50 I paid for them, these have turned out to be a bit of a bargain. Very comfortable, seem to be well made and durable and are now my number 1 pair of shoes. Pity that I could not be as flattering about the Adizeros.
