Any Mizuno players in here use the Mizuno forum, I joined up there the other day, posted a message, got the message that my post would have to be approved by a mod before being displayed and nothing has happened.

And no, there were no expletives, innuendos, smut or rubbish.

Ironic thing is there is another thread a little lower down, say, things are a bit slow with the OP stating that the majority of posts only came from the same 4 people. Well no wonder it's slow, if new people join and the mods don't approve mails

Not a member, but it's probably a way of filtering new users and spam posts in the first instance. The mods need to be active 24/7 though. Mizzie are a great brand, no doubt about it, but some of the fanboys on there are a little silly

Not on the Mizuno forum but I joined a cycling forum were your first 10 posts need to be approved before they got posted.

If that happened on here nothing would ever get passed the mods ;)

Hi,

I am a regular user of the Mizuno forum. Its only your first post or two that will go this way then it will act as normal.

The community is smaller than this one so it moves much slower but it still a good forum. Some sections are more active than others and there are some posters who post in everything but its a worthy forum if your a Mizuno guy. It is well used by Mizuno staff too so can be very useful.

I signed up a few weeks ago and did a couple of posts but nearly a week later they still hadnt appeared. In the end I replied back to the email I received when I joined and asked them politely to get a move on. They are just slow

Its all a bit cliquey TBH, i used to post on there before i came on here 6 years ago.

Ive seen posts from new guys asking a question about a product, no replies at all, then one the reg posters asks the same and it gets 20 replies

I understand the need to filter out the rubbish, bots and spam, but it's been 3 days, I would've thought to keep an active alive forum, the mods would've been on the ball to welcome new members.

Its not like that... maybe you were just not very popular...

it's exactly like that!

Their Mizuno new driver testing went to 5 guys in the clique who didn't even post the requested information for the comp.

As long as you know there's a 'family' and posts are few and far between then fill yer boots.

One of their clan came in here recently didnt he? havent seen him post again, maybe it's too busy in here for him:cool:

When or if they approve my posts, I'll give it a go and see what happens.

They're a very good bunch of guys. I've played golf with most of them and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. It can be a bit slow sometimes, but it's worth it if you have a genuine love for the brand.

Tbh I was on a nightclub forum years ago and only very rarely was the nightclub nights even talked about. The rest was just completely random chat and it was non stop. He craic was mighty and no one worried about threads going off topic.

That is one thing that annoys me. Conversations naturally ebb and flow. Who actually cares if something goes off topic?

I use the Mizuno forum, it is less frenetic than this place, but it is also a good place to read and roam. You using the same name ?
