I knew they made balls but assumed it was only for the far east market. Never seen any in the UK and to be fair it would need to be something special to make an impact in an already competitive market.

I have one of these in my bag which I found. I wouldn't say it is anything to write home about although solid nonetheless. I would happily play with them for a round.

Now I know they are rare you can guarantee the next time I tee it up I will put it in some deep rough, never to be seen again!

Great balls in my opinion.

As much spin \ control if not more over the Pro V1 but much much more durable and scuffs a lot less also.

Plus they are cheaper.

Got them from www.golfgeardirect.co.uk. Turns out website was wrong but Daryl in shop honoured the deal for me which was nice. They are now listed correctly at £29.99 a dozen

www.aslangolf.co.uk are selling the 2008 ball for £25 a dozen which is not bad. Their postage costs are a bit steep though.

My local Nevada Bob in Glasgow is selling 2008 Pro V1 & V1x for £25 a dozen also.
