Tried some new clubs today at AG, has anyone any experience of the EZ forged model from Mizuno.

I'm a complete hacker so tried the following:

RSi1's
Callaway XR's
EZ forged

Currently use some SGI callaways and feel like a change.

Swing speed on the 7i's was 82mph and smash factor was just over 1.2 so contact is poor but surprisingly the Mizunos which are supposed to be the slightly better players clubs had the best dispersion.

Callaways were absolute monsters but just sprayed the range.

What's the thoughts should invest in some lovely forged EZ's. TBH with the TM and XR I felt they were similar to my SGI models; get its up and out there but but dispersion isn't great.

Invest in what you feel works best for you. Miles in the wrong direction is less than optimal for most golfers!

Have a look around for deals as the EZ forged are previous model. You could probably pick up a bargain.

Good luck & happy shopping

Is a change in clubs going to mean a change in fortunes. Not to put a dampener on your enthusiam for some new shinys but I would look at losing that hacker tag by investing in some lessons.Work on the drills and swing changes over the winter and then think about new sticks.

I've got half a dozen lessons booked, shot 49 over 9 on Friday inc a 10 so there is a slim glimmer of hope.
