Firstly big thanks to Golf Monthly for selecting me as one of the lucky winners 
First thoughts pulling the driver out the box were that the blue head and white shaft look really different to anything I have used before and go really well together. Sitting the club down and very excited by how well it sits and feels. I now realise this is party due to to a slightly shorter shaft than is in my current Ping G15. Really confidence inspiring.
First outing at the driving range this weekend and I love it.
Hit a few iron shots to warm up then outcomes the JPX 850. Again feels really good at address and first shot the thing I notice is the sound, quite an odd sound compared to my G15, and can only describe it is THWWUUUCC. Pretty loud and wasn't sure what to make of it if I'm being honest.
After a few shots I'm used to this new sound and really liking how the ball is flying. Its a much lower/penetrating flight than a I have with the G15 (even with same loft) resulting in an extra 10/15 yards (guesstimate). I kept the loft at 10.5 and the weights in the middle throughout. Next time round I'll play about with loft and weights but wanted to give myself a baseline to work from before tinkering. On the basis of the 40 or so balls I hit with it it will be going straight in the bag as all were good distance and good looking ball flights. Although I love my G15 I did feel last season I was hitting it a bit too high and struggling for distance into the wind.
Real test will be on the course where I can properly determine distance/accuracy but due to constant rain over the last few weeks this hasn't been possible. I will provide further update after first outing on the grass.
