Mizino JPX900 hybrid

Had a go on one yesterday. really nice to look down on and the matt blue finish is very classy.

i don't need a new hybrid but might get one anyway.

the dilemma is;

I like an 18 deg. but they only do a 19 or 16. so will have to turn a 19 down one deg that will open the face slightly, or go for the 16 and turn up to 18 which should close the face..

a bad shot with a hybrid for me is always going to be left.

Sounds like you need the 19 then, sit it open. The 900 line does look fantastic from address, good to see mizuno stepping up in the woods department.

Just get both. A man can never have too much Mizuno

also nice to see more than one shaft option for the hybrid and not just the stock shaft like last time, but could still be better IMO

Just leave it at 19. Hardly a massive difference from an 18.


Pretty sure,

Turning 19 to 18 will close it I think.

Turning the 16 to 18 will open it of its the same as a driver.


Best to try all options before you buy if you can.

not according to the mizuno fitter... its not just open/close there is the shaft position change that's the difference.
