I'm always slightly puzzled why this query about mixed play keeps popping up.
The rules which have a stroke and distance element (lost ball, OOB, unplayable etc) all say the same thing - play a ball from the spot at which the original ball was last played . Which is pretty clear I'd think. Why would one think that playing from a different tee/different place would count as the same spot as the original
